Description
From the Manufacturer Where form and function meet. The Skip Hop Dash sports a hip, urban style with great functionality. With eleven roomy pockets, there is space for everything a baby needs, and a zippered compartment protects mom and dad's personal items. The Deluxe Edition includes the new Shuttle Clips; a unique strap and fastening system that allows the Dash to attach neatly and conveniently to the handlebars of any stroller and then convert into a cool, hip messenger-style diaper bag. When attached to the stroller, you can leave the shoulder strap attached or remove it for a cleaner look. The Dash now includes new magnetic closures throughout and a comfy shoulder pad.

I am a mother of two, and my youngest is almost two. I felt inclined to write a review because this diaper bag is one of my absolute favorites! I am a bit of a diaper bag hoarder and have purchased a ridiculous amount trying to find "the right one." I have my trusty Petunia Pickle Bottom Sashay Satchel and more Ju Ju Be's than I care to admit, but I always seem to come back to my Skip Hop bags. In my opinion the Dash is not for infants, but is perfect for toddlers. The fabric is sturdy, well-made, hides dirt, and the shoulder strap is very comfortable. It has many pockets and I feel like everything has its place. The outside has two front pockets, two side bottle pockets, and one back changing pad pocket. The inside has one large slip pocket on the front side, two slip pockets on the other side, a "hidden" zippered mommy pocket, and two smaller pockets on each side that house the stroller straps but can also fit bottles or slim sippies. One of my very favorite features is the zippered "mommy pocket" with the key clip. I also LOVE this Adler design. The black and white is stunning in real life. It is trendy without being too loud or obnoxious. (The white is more of a cream though) The stroller straps are genius and the bag itself is so lightweight. Some of my other bags are heavy without anything in them. I love the size, the multiple magnet levels of closure, and the fact that it comes with a coordinating laminated zipper bag and change mat. However, If I was designing this bag and I could make one change, it would be to shorten the change pad by about 1/2 inch. It seems to be a tad long and takes a little bit of effort to get it to lay flat in the back pocket when the bag is full. It is a minor inconvience though and not one that truly even bothers me. As I mentioned before, I don't think this bag would be big enough for bottle fed infants or multiples. It is perfection though for my stage in life with one toddler in diapers.I love this bag. A LOT! It's my every day diaper bag.I have 9 month old twins and this is the bag I use to carry all our stuff in. It's not huge, but it carries all the important things. As a mom of twins I am very critical of diaper bags. it needs to have two spaces for bottles. it needs to be able to carry a significant amount of items, but also I really don't want a giant bag, so it needs to be a reasonable size. This fits the bill on all those points.it's not too large, but not so small you cant fit things in it either. One thing to keep in mind is that I'm not the mom that has to bring everything I might possibly need. If you are that type you might need to consider a larger size. I carry things that may be necessary (outfit change just in case, A CRAPLOAD OF DIAPERS, Wipes, Wallet, Keys, Cell Phone, Glasses, hand sanitizer, lots of snacks, suncreen and ointments, ect.) So I mean I do carry a number of things in my bag and two of nearly everything because I do have twins. This bag can hold a lot.If you're a mom with just one baby this bag is perfect with some extra space.I love the design. I have been complimented on the pattern numerous times. It's really pretty. People ask where I bought it. I haven't ever seen it at a store, so I always just tell them on amazon. I'm not sure if they carry the Jonathan Alder patterns in retail stores. I have never seen them in any big box stores. I have seen other skip hop bags, but not this style.I own two Skip hop diaper bags and this one is my favorite!I have the Nixon Dash bag, and overall, I like it! There are tons of handy pockets, I like the flap-over closure (magnetic), I like the option for snapping the bag over stroller handles, the pockets are insulated and cushioned, and the fabric design is very modern and cool. HOWEVER, please note that the color is beige and black, not white and black. I suppose this is a good thing for stains and wear and tear... I was just surprised. Another gripe is the size. TOO SMALL, but just barely. I suppose it forces you to only take what you need, but I wish it were just a tad bigger - newborns require a lot of stuff! (Change of clothes, washcloths, burp rags, blankies, diapers, wipes, creams, pacis, bottles... and of course Mom stuff. Forget your purse, you'll put your chapstick, wallet and keys in this thing!) Also of note, the inner zipper broke after three months of light use. Not that big of deal, but somewhat disappointing. I wish it also had straps to put on as a backpack, but I guess you can't have it all (and I'm not paying for a Petunia Picklebutt bag!) BUT, the design and functionality is very good, and I do like this bag. I give it a solid 3.75 stars. After thorough research, I decided purchase this bag and I'm very happy with my purchase. The design is cute and surprisingly matches to all kinds of outfits I wear. It has pockets outside that are useful for quick baby needs and cell phone, wallet, and car keys. it is very light weight and the padding on shoulder fits comfortably. The only reason I didn't give 5 star is because it is little too tight inside space when you put stuff in outside pockets. Even when you don't put so much stuff in outside pockets, the inside space is only enough for one set of baby clothes, 3 diapers, wipes, small snacks, and a receiving blanket, and the bag rarely closes. I still use it all the time, though. It is good size for daily use for one baby. I'm about to have 2nd so I'm thinking to buy a bigger one of Skip Hop. They make great bags for sure!I have been using this bag for 9 months now and it is very cute and gender neutral, but sometimes I wish it would hold more. I tend to pack it as full as I can and then the magnets don't close together so toys and diapers fall out. I have looked at some other diaper bags, but haven't found anything that was considerably bigger that I still wanted to carry around everywhere. One big plus about this bag is the small straps inside the long strap that allow you to hook it to the handles of a stroller. Genius! And the insulated side pockets have kept my water bottles cold when the bag sat in the heat.
